Rules for ‘Superpowers’


📖 The supplementary rulebook for the ‘Superpowers’ set is a detailed guide that will help you quickly get to grips with all the new mechanics and make every game of ‘Mafia’ even more exciting.

🦸 Superpowers are additional cards that are added to the base game and unlock dozens of new scenarios. They alter the usual rules, introduce unexpected twists and new tactics, and make every game unique.

📚 The book describes all 55 superpowers, including:
Amnesty, Troublemaker, Bermuda Triangle, Insomnia, Block, Bonus, Bulletproof Vest, Recruitment, Veto, Rising from Hell, Blindfold, Hooligan, Girls, Detector, Detonator, Good Doctor, Doc, Potion, Zombie, Immunity, Interview, Kamikaze, Clone, Key to the City, Gag, Blood Trail, Mask, Mayor, Invisibility, New Gang, Vow of Silence, Overnight Reversal, Executioner, The Lads, Reload, Shootout, Last Word, The Raw Truth, Ghost, Curse, Execution, Ranger, Royal Flush, Witness, Séance, Secret Ballot, Silence, Blow, Chameleon, A Thorn in the Side and others.

💥 Examples of superpowers:

🎤 Interview — allows you to check two players. The host will only reveal whether they are on the same team or on different teams.

⛔ Block — the selected player will be unable to use their role that night.

🤝 New Gang — two players with this card form a separate team and continue the game together. One of the most unpredictable scenarios in ‘Mafia’.

😎 Thug — allows you to take a superpower card from any player at the table.

At first glance, the superpowers may seem complicated, but thanks to the detailed explanations in the book, you’ll quickly get to grips with all the mechanics. After just a few games, most players won’t want to go back to the classic version of the game.
